I grew up on the west side of the state in Greenville. I played baseball throughout school, playing catcher in high school. After earning my undergrad at Central Michigan University, I began my teaching and coaching career in Corunna, MI. While in Corunna, I taught high school math and science. I coached a variety of sports, including boys and girls varsity tennis, junior varsity baseball, freshmen girls basketball, and middle school cross country.

 

I am currently a high school math teacher and youth sports coach, having recently served as a tee ball and basketball coach for my three children. I am an unofficial assistant coach with my daughter's current travel team.

At any level and in any sport, I value player development, safety, team camaraderie, and sportsmanship. I want girls on my team who play hard, desire to improve, and are great teammates. I'm looking forward to a great season with the Generals in which each girl makes incredible strides and the team has a wonderful time playing and winning softball games together.

This team’s purpose is to teach players the game, to develop their skills and to encourage teamwork. All this while also ensuring a safe and positive environment where the focus is development, competitiveness and fun! We are looking for players who LOVE to play, want to learn and are willing to strive for the team’s success. We are also looking for parents who are able to support their daughter and their daughter's teammates alike.
